The DOCTORS ’von Behring 1901’, reference 358-08, mechanical caliber DOC-59-ASJ, is refined and modified by ‘Manufacture La Joux-Perret’ , La Chaux-de-Fonds/Suisse. It receives its visibly uncommon function through the golden snake hand, which sets a date via the crown, resp. to trigger the unmistakeable, vibrating wake-up tone of approx. 10 seconds. Below the 12 is the curved window of the second adjustable time zone. The date window is above the 6.
The doctor not only has an essential ancillary medical instrument, but a multi-functional piece of jewellery as well. The PULSOMED ® scale runs visibly around the centre of the open-design face.

Emil von Behring
(15.03.1854 - 31.03.1917)
The German researcher Emil von Behring was honoured with the first Nobel Prize in Medicine in 1901.
He received the prize for his success on serum therapy, which brought decisive developments in the battle against diphtheria and gave the physician a successful weapon in the battle against illness and death.
In honour of the Nobel Prize winner and his pioneering work, the automatic DOCTORS bears the name VON BEHRING (reference 358-08, two time zones, date and alarm-wakeup function).
