Dezember 08. This year the Nobel Prize in Medicine 2008 goes to Germany, to Prof. Dr. med. Dr. h.c. mult. Harald zur Hausen and to France, to Francoise Barré-Sinoussi and Luc Montagnier.
The german Watch Yearbook „CHRONOS EDITION 2009“ just appeared in November 2008 with a double-sided report about the DOCTORS „Hippocrates“.

4 December 07: DOCTORS receives the order to design the instruments for an exclusive racing sports car.

The first edition of 99 pieces of the new model DOCTORS von Behring 1901 already sold out before it hit the market. The next edition „von Behring“ will be avaible not before the end of 2009.

Monday, 8 October 2007: This year the Nobel Prize for Medicine 2007 goes to the US-Americans Mario Capecchi and Oliver Smithies, as well as the British scientist Martin J. Evans. They will receive the award for their technology to switch off genes in laboratory mice to research their function (Nobel/ Karolinska-Institut Stockholm).
DOCTORS receives the order to design, amongst other things, the control instruments for a mega yacht.
At the internationally recognised German watch competition [FOCUS Magazin No. 44 of 30 October 2006, under »SpezialUhren MännerZeit«, in cooperation with UhrenMagazin] the »Goldene Unruh 2007«, the major and 1st prize is a DOCTORS Hippocrates for € 7,350.00
The Nobel Prize Winners for Medicine 2006 are the US Research scientist Andrew Z. Fire (MIT Cambridge)and Craig C. Mello (Harvard University Boston) for the discovery of the RNA-Interference, the immobilisation of genes by double-stranded RNA. This opens up totally new opportunities in biotechnologies, quotes the Nobel Prize Committee.
