Particularly for medical doctors, the sophisticated chronograph HIPPOCRATES embodies both the value of time and the aspirations of a calling.
The sound piece of jewellery combines the functional chronograph with the PULSOMED ® Stop Function to a medical ancillary instrument.
The Edition No. 1 with the reference “DOC-243 HIPPOCRATES” is dedicated and presented to the Nobel Prize winner in Medicine each year.
The proceeds of Edition No. 2 are awarded annually to an international medical aid organisation in the form of a donation.

HIGHLY SPECIALISED EXPERTS ASSURE THAT THE MOST ELABORATE FABRICATION OF FINEST MATERIALS MEET THE MOST SOPHISTICATED DEMANDS
2,400 years ago, HIPPOCRATES, who is known today as the “father of medicine,” represented the revolutionary idea for its time, to combat illnesses with natural means and not to leave it up to the capriciousness of the Gods.
He debated that illness always has a natural origin. On the basis of the symptoms, the doctor would be able to ascertain the patient of how to increase and control the healing powers of the body. In his opinion, a lifestyle regulated by correct nutrition would be the best treatment method. Many of the Hippocratic diets are still unsurpassed in their effect today.
“Hippocratism” stands for scientific thinking with practical medical experience, power of observation and a sense of responsibility towards patients.
Through the “Hippocratic Oath” -IUS IURANDUM HIPPOCRATIS- , these duties are still known to every doctor today.
The values of the medical profession demanded in this oath are so timeless, that one spoke of the “true physician“, the progenitor of the medical profession.
The DOCTORS Pulsomed-Chronograph, reference 243, carries the name of HIPPOCRATES to honour both him and the Hippocratic writings ascribed to him.
